Kota Singkawang has an inflation of 0,55 percent on June 2020

Abstract

In June 2020, inflation of Singkawang was 0.55 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 103.24.

Inflation occurs due to price increases indicated by the index increase in the five expenditure groups. The expenditure group that experienced an increase in index from the highest were the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.52 percent; transportation by 0.33 percent; personal care and other services by 0.25 percent; household appliances, equipment and routine maintenance by 0.14 percent; and recreation, sports and culture by 0.12 percent. Two expenditure groups that tend not to experience changes in the index are the education group; and providing food and beverages / restaurants. The four expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in index from the highest were housing, water, electricity, and household fuel by 0.22 percent; health by 0.21 percent; clothing and footwear by 0.17 percent; and information, communication and financial services by 0.02 percent.

June 2020 calendar year, inflation of Singkawang was 1.87 percent and year-on-year inflation (June 2020 to June 2019) was 0.93 percent.

From 90 cities in Indonesia, Singkawang occupied in 13th ranks.
