Abstract

Inflation that occurred in November 2010 was due to an increase in the index in four groups of expenditure and a decrease in the index in the three groups of expenditures. Four groups of expenditure which increased the index namely the Food, Beverages, Cigarettes and Tobacco increased by 0.44 percent, the group Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Fuels by 0.68 percent, 0.24 percent and Clothing group Transport, Communications, and Financial Services by 0.68 percent. Expenditure group index declines that group Foodstuffs index decreased by -0.15 percent, Health group index decreased by -0.63 percent and Education, Recreation and Sports by -0.16 percent.
