Inflation rate of Kota Pontianak was minus 0.15 percent (deflation)

Abstract

Deflation that occurred in October 2010 was due to a decrease in the index in all expenditure groups. From the seven groups of expenditure, the three group experienced a decrease in the index and the four groups experienced an increase in the index. Expenditure group index declines ie Foodstuffs Group of -0.78 percent, the group Education, Recreation and Sports of -0.09 percent and Transport, Communications, and Financial Services at -0.70 percent. Increased expenditure groups indices ie groups Food, Beverages, Cigarettes and Tobacco experienced by 0.11 percent, the group Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Fuels by 0.28 percent, 1.30 percent of the group Clothing, Group Health index increased by 0.06 percent
