Inflation in Kota Pontianak April 2010 at -0.28 percent (deflation)

Deflation in May 2010 occurred because of the increasing index in 4 (four) group expenditure and decreasing index of 3 (three) groups expenditure. Increased expenditure groups index were the Food, Beverages, Cigarettes and Tobacco group increased by 0.02 percent, Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Fuels group by 1.03 percent, Clothing group at 0.17 percent, Health group by 0.22 percent, while the decreasing expenditure groups index  were Foodstuffs group at -0.76, Education, Recreation and Sports group at -0.03 percent, and the group Transport, Communications and Financial Services decreasing index of at -2.26 percent.
